Susanna Kass is a member of Climate 50, the topmost influential Climate Change leaders to tackle Climate Change for five consecutive years. Kass ranks 4th in Top 10 Women in Data Center by Data Centre Magazine, Most Inspiring Leaders to follow by Inc. Magazine because of her impactful results of over 3.8 Gigawatt of Renewable Energy Projects with her Data Center clients. Kass is the Data Center advisor for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Program working with the hyperscalers like Google, Microsoft, AWS, Meta-Facebook, Apple, InfraPrime, Equinix, AQ Compute and with the Head of States to reach Carbon Neutrality (Negative) goals to support The Environmental Directives and Climate Action of Energy, Emission, Water and Waste.

Her prediction of 2023 for this decade and post Covid-19 pandemic is the Data Center/ICT sector shall transition to clean energy infrastructure and absorb hyperscale growth in Gigawatt scale accelerated by Generative AI impacts. In 2023, new $Billions clean assets Fund by Amazon and Microsoft, $Billions in clean energy data center infrastructure spent by Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, Meta to meet their carbon neutral- negative pledges to the UNSDG program. Recently, US Democratic Presidential Candidate Joe Biden’s Reduction Inflation Act aims to revamp clean infrastructure throughout the American; results are measured by triple zero (carbon, emissions, waste) data centers in Giga, Terawatt scale around the globe.

Kass has 32 years of global data center operational experience, designing and managing data center infrastructure of over 200 megawatts across 17 countries, operated 24x7x365 data center over 99.99999% uptime with long term energy storage and microgrid systems with her distributed team for over 3 decades, her clients included Goldman Sachs, Google, Equinix, Akamai, Pixar, Disney, John Hopkins University. Kass was COO at ebay International, General Manager of Hewlett Packard APAC Data Center, VP Global Data Center Business Operations at Sun Microsystems (sold to Oracle for $5.6B in 2009), EVP Sustainability and Innovation at startup Baselayer-I/O. (also sold to Iron Mountain for $2.1 B in 2019)

Kass is in the Energy sector concurrently for 12 years. Kass originated 2+ Gigawatts of renewable power contracts with her clients included Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Equinix, Walmart, Goldman Sachs. Kass is an Energy fellow at Stanford University, a lecturer in Urban Sustainability Design at Stanford School of Engineering , and in Materials Engineering and Environmental Studies at National University of Singapore. Kass is a co-founder, BOD at InfraPrime, a Switzerland startup focused on providing Net Zero Data Center design for clean energy transition, decarbonization of Scope 1, 2, 3 projects with over 11.2 Gigawatt Renewable Energy project pipeline, reuse C02 emission to provide new value creation of District Heating and Cooling. Kass holds several Carbon Free Energy patents. The design was selected by the European Union for EcoPrime Power, her hyperscaler clients won Clean Energy Innovation Awards, she is the industry judge for Data Center Dynamics Awards, International Engineering Summit, Broadgroup Data Center and Talent Awards, UN SDG-EP DDI Awards, and Council of Peers at Platform.

Kass is a STEM mentor of 700+ youth girls, a volunteer at Canopy.org for Tree Planting for low income communities, Make A Wish foundation for over 20 years. Kass leads the Thought Leadership industry speaking forums in Data Center and Clean Energy industry for Data Center Dynamics, Data Cloud Congress, Biz Click Media Sustainability Live, Data Center World, UN SDG Data Center Summit, DDI with AWS, Google, Microsoft, Apple, Meta Facebook, and leading cloud and Energy innovation providers. Kass is the author of publications on Clean Energy, Circular Economy, Sustainability Design, led the Sustainability Cost of Metrics for UN SDG to advance Planet, People and Profit for the Data Center and ICT sector.
